Green and flowers during dry summer
Grindelia_camporum stay green during summer (July 7, 2020).
Purple flowers of deseart willow (Chilopsis linearis desert willow) are beautiful (June 20, 20).
Blue flowers of Salvia x clevelandii ‘Pozo Blue’ Gray Musk Sage has been blooming (Date and picture).
Helianthus bolanderi Bolander’s sunflower (from my original 2018 Native plant seed mix).
A new commer in my frontyard.
Achyrachaena mollis (Apr 18, 2021) was found in front yard.
2021 Spring
- Desart willow came back.
- Bougainvillea sp. is blooming on a new
- California Fuchsia are growing very well.
- Two of three Salvia apiana White sage plants are grown well (one died last summer).
- Diplacus aurantiacus Curtis is grown well with yellow flowers.
- Rubus ursinus California Blackberry is grown very well next to Bougainvillea sp. Climing trellis (2021 spring).
Ever-green tree (six Ceanothus, which contains at least three Ceanothus ray hartman plants at Morningsun Herb farm, Sep 26, 2020). Three of six Ceanothus plants survived as of Jul 2, 2021, which contains two Ceanothus ray harman.
Some of plants died ** Manzanita (2020 summer) ** Sambucus nigra caerulea Elderberry (2021 summer)
2021 Summer - Fall
- Weekly watering around pomegranate, California Fuschia, and deseart willow.
- California Fuschia have been grown up.
- Native sunflowers dominate the yard.
- On Oct 21, 2021, after the first real rain in this season, I planted additional California Fuschia and Ceanothus purchased from Morningsun Herb Farm at Vacaville.
